~ Known as the mother of all yoga, Kundalini Yoga is called the Yoga of Awareness and is known for its powerful healing abilities.
The purpose of Kundalini Yoga is to raise our Kundalini energy, which lays dormant at the base of our spine. It is this energy that facilitates self-healing and increases our state of awareness. Kundalini Yoga incorporates breath work, postures, mantra, and meditation, along with several other tools to awaken our Kundalini energy and draw it up our spine and through our chakras. The goal of all yoga is to reach a higher state of consciousness.
